Scott MacComb, President
 

Mr. MacComb has been in the real estate consulting field for over 25 years, including 13 years with Ernst & Young, where much of his time was spent assisting REITS and other institutional buyers with proper financial reporting of real estate holdings.  Since launching Allocation Advisors in 2010, the company has assisted clients in the preparation of purchase price allocation studies for several thousand individual properties.  He is supported by a team of professionals with backgrounds in real estate due diligence, accounting, and Argus discounted cash flow analysis.

Over his career, Scott has gained exposure to every type of commercial real estate property in all variety of real estate cycles.  During his last several years with Ernst & Young he spent considerable time overseeing technical reviews of property valuation studies for financial reporting purpose.  It was during this time that he saw a need for a new type of service provider to assist companies with accurate and cost-effective solutions to meeting compliance requirements involving valuation decisions.

In addition to valuation reviews, Scott has deep experience with financial due diligence on M&A deals, partnership structuring, feasibility studies, investor return analyses, debt restructuring, and business process improvement.

Scott earned a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Geography from San Diego State University in 1995 and is a licensed realtor in Arizona.  When not working, Scott enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his wife and two kids.

Stan Salomon, Senior Analyst

Mr. Salomon has over 20 years of experience in commercial and residential real estate finance, with much of the time spent over the last 11 years preparing purchase price allocations on property acquisitions.  Stan has deep expertise in the use of Argus and Excel for modeling real estate scenarios.  His professional history includes working for a regional residential land development firm, a large institutional investor of all classes of commercial real estate, a multifamily developer, and a national shopping mall chain developer & operator.  Specialty roles have ranged from acquisitions and development to asset management and dispositions.

Stan has primarily served as a financial manager and lead analyst for the majority of his career.  Duties have ranged from complex pro forma financial modeling of development and acquisitions (hotel, office, retail, multifamily, land, etc.), preparing debt/lender packages, equity raise pitchbooks, credit underwriting, asset valuations & appraisal reviews, lease analyses & abstracts, and annual budgeting.

Stan holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Maryland.  He currently lives in Potomac, MD with his wife and two sons.
